KOLKATA: The KMC’s repair and upgrade work of the sewer system under AJC Bose Road, which connects to Lower Rawdon Street, is likely to be completed by Monday night.
The KMC has started on the project to enable a trunk sewer line under AJC Bose Road, which connects to Lower Rawdon Street, to take most stormwater load during monsoon to check waterlogging on Lower Rawdon Street. Former India cricket captain Sourav Ganguly, who bought a bungalow on Lower Rawdon Street, requested mayor Firhad Hakim to take care of clogged lines. “We hope to finish the work by Monday night. The work will change the waterlogging scenario there,” said a drainage official.
