With car insurance rates soaring in recent years, drivers are looking for ways to save on their premiums. Many insurers offer safe driving discounts that incorporate telematics programs, also known as usage-based insurance (UBI), to record and evaluate your habits behind the wheel.

If the data shows you’ve been a responsible motorist, you could see your rate drop by as much as 40%.

While the discounts are appealing, some companies will raise your premiums if the results show you’re not considered a safe driver. Additionally, privacy advocates worry about where all that information could wind up.

“It comes down to consent,” said Hayley Tsukayama, associate director of legislative activism at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, a digital privacy nonprofit. “People get upset when their data is used in ways they don’t expect. Maybe you are willing to make some of those trade-offs — it’s all about clear communication.”

If you’re thinking about a safe driving discount — or you’ve already signed up for one — find out how they work, how much you could save and what the risks are.

How do safe driving apps work?

Discounts for good driving are nothing new: Insurance companies often lower rates for drivers who take a defensive driving class or who haven’t had an accident in several years. But the advent of wireless technology has meant insurers can now collect, transmit and evaluate day-to-day driving behavior in real-time.

Signing up for a safe driving discount usually means installing a plug-in device or downloading an app on your mobile phone. (Some insurers offer either option or use data from both.)

Tracker: These widgets, known as telematics devices, are usually plugged into a port beneath the steering wheel and use your car’s sensors and diagnostic systems to track your performance.

Smartphone app: Instead of onboard diagnostics, data about your driving speed, hard braking and other behaviors is captured by your phone’s internal GPS and sensors. The apps typically analyze movements — like how your phone rotates when you enter your vehicle — to determine if you’re driving.

The system tracks metrics relating to your performance behind the wheel. The specifics vary, but they typically include:

  • Time of day
  • Mileage
  • Location and route
  • Speed
  • Acceleration, braking and turning
  • Phone usage while driving

Since each insurer collects, analyzes and weighs data differently, there is no one approach to getting the most out of a UBI plan. According to Progressive, limiting hard braking and acceleration, avoiding handheld phone activity and not driving between midnight and 4 a.m. will help you optimize its Snapshot program.

Which insurance companies have safe driving apps?

These are some of the top insurers offering discounts if you allow them to monitor your driving habits. Each state has different rules about how data can be used, however, and some restrict or prohibit UBI programs.

Allstate: Up to 25% off with Drivewise
American Family: Up to 20% off with DriveMyWay
Farmers: Up to 35% off with Signal
Geico: Up to 25% off with DriveEasy
Nationwide: Up to 40% off with SmartRide
Progressive: Customers who earn a discount with Snapshot save an average of $231 a year
State Farm: Up to 30% off with Drive Safe & Save
Travelers: Up to 30% off with IntelliDrive
USAA: Up to 30% off with SafePilot

Can a safe driving app make my rate go up?

Will my driving data be sold?

Depending on your insurer, telematics information can be shared or used for other purposes, including marketing. In addition, a company that doesn’t share or sell your data may still be required by law to comply with a subpoena, court order or law enforcement request.

It can be difficult to decipher an insurer’s privacy policy to know exactly what is being done with your information.

“Unfortunately, it does require a little work — they don’t make it easy,” said Tsukayama. “Obviously, the insurance companies are incentivized to get people to sign up for these programs. So, [those agreements] are not always easy to decipher.”

Nationwide, State Farm and USAA told CNBC Select that driving data is not shared or sold with third parties.

Nationwide Auto Insurance

  • App available

  • Policy highlights

State farm is one of the largest auto insurers based on market share and has an excellent reputation for customer satisfaction. It offers 13 discounts, including ones for safe driving and young drivers.

Farmers Auto Insurance directed CNBC Select to its privacy notice, which indicates customer data from its Signal app may be shared with third parties, including “companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements.”

Farmers Auto Insurance

  • Cost

The best way to estimate your costs is to request a quote

  • App available

  • Policy highlights

Farmers sells car insurance in every state except Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia and offers a whopping 22 discounts.

According to Progressive’s privacy statement, personally identifiable data from its Snapshot app may be shared with other companies “to service your insurance policy, detect or prevent fraud, perform research, market our or our affiliates’ products and services to you or as required or permitted by law.” (Users can limit some of the marketing of Progressive and affiliate products and services, however.)

Progressive Auto Insurance

  • Cost

The best way to estimate your costs is to request a quote

  • App available

  • Policy highlights

Progressive offers a number of lines of insurance to allow for bundling, and convenient tools to help you keep your coverage in your budget.

“Make sure you’re comfortable if your insurer is reserving the right to sell your information to data brokers,” Tsukayama said. “Maybe you’re willing to make some of those trade-offs. It’s all about clear communication.”

How accurate are safe driving apps?

While your car’s or phone’s sensors can detect driving behavior, they’re not infallible: They may register you were the driver when you were in the passenger seat or detect distracted driving when you’re not even behind the wheel.

Only 38% of customers who use safe-driving apps say the data collected is always accurate, according to J.D. Power. Most programs allow users to request corrections, but the process is time-consuming and the options are limited.  Travelers Insurance, for example, gives Intellidrive users 10 days to update that they were a passenger, not a driver, on a given trip.

Travelers Auto Insurance

  • Cost

The best way to estimate your costs is to request a quote

  • App available

  • Policy highlights

Travelers auto insurance policies are affordable and backed by the sixth largest company for car insurance by market share according to the NAIC. The company also offers a number of discounts to customers, including discounts for bundling, owning a hybrid or electric car, and good student discounts.

How do I sign up for a safe driving discount?

In most cases, policyholders need to enroll in the safe driving discount within the first few weeks of their policy going into effect. The insurer then tracks their driving for the duration of their term (usually six or 12 months) and then applies any discount at the next policy renewal.

In some cases, you may need to complete a certain number of trips within that time frame to qualify.

The full discount usually isn’t available until you renew, but most companies offer a smaller discount just for signing up: Nationwide, for example, takes 10% off your rate when you enroll in its SmartRide program. At renewal, the overall discount can increase to as much as 40%.

Insurer Program Discount
Allstate Drivewise Up to 25% off
American Family DriveMyWay Up to 20% off
Farmers Signal Up to 35% off
Geico DriveEasy Up to 25% off
Nationwide SmartRide Up to 40% off
Progressive* Snapshot Average of $231 a year for drivers who save
State Farm Drive Safe & Save Up to 30% off
Travelers Intellidrive Up to 30% off
USAA SafePilot Up to 30% off

Are safe driving apps worth it?

If you’re a responsible motorist, safe driver apps are a great way to lower your rates. But, depending on your insurer, you could risk a rate increase.

You also need to decide if it’s worth your insurance company having access to that much data.

“If there are reasons that you might want to keep that information more [private], you might say, ‘Oh no, this is not for me,'” Tsukayama said. “The top thing is knowing what you’re getting into. Try to understand what they collect and use that to evaluate how comfortable you are with it.”

Whatever you decide, Tsukayam said, it should be an informed decision.

“At the end of the day, it’s your information,” she said. “It’s not theirs. They may be collecting it and holding it, but it’s about you.”

Safe driving discount pros and cons

Pros

  • Lower rates.
  • Improved driving habits

Cons

  • Your rates could increase.

FAQs

How much can I save with a safe driving discount?

The exact discount depends on your insurance company, your policy and where you live. Nationwide cited a maximum discount of 40%, the highest among the companies we reviewed.

What are the risks of signing up for a safe driver discount?

Depending on the insurer, your rates could increase or your information could be shared with marketing companies and other third parties.

How does a safe driving app know who is driving?

Safe driving apps use your phone sensors to analyze movements and behaviors — like how your phone rotates when you enter your vehicle — to determine if you are the driver. Mislabeling of trips can happen but users can submit corrections.

Texas Man Pleads Guilty to Insider Trading After Overhearing Wife’s Work Calls https://cbomo.com/bp-insider-trading-texas-html/ https://cbomo.com/bp-insider-trading-texas-html/#respond Sun, 25 Feb 2024 18:51:32 +0000 https://cbomo.com/bp-insider-trading-texas-html/ [ad_1]

A Texas man pleaded guilty to insider training after he was accused of making $1.7 million in illegal profits by purchasing and selling stocks based on his wife’s work conversations, which he had overheard while she was working remotely at home, federal prosecutors said on Thursday.

The man, Tyler Loudon, of Houston, bought 46,450 shares of stock in the truck stop and travel center company TravelCenters of America after he heard his wife discuss her employer’s proposed acquisition of it, according to a complaint filed in the Southern District of Texas by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Mr. Loudon’s wife, who is not named in court documents, was a mergers and acquisitions manager at BP, a British oil and gas company, the complaint said.

On Feb. 16, 2023, TravelCenters of America announced that it had agreed to be acquired by BP, sending its stock prices soaring by 70.8 percent.

Mr. Loudon immediately sold all of his stock, which he had bought without his wife’s knowledge, according to court documents.

“Mr. Loudon made a terrible mistake in judgment for which he has taken full responsibility,” Mr. Loudon’s lawyer, Peter Zeidenberg, said in an email.

Alamdar S. Hamdani, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Texas, announced on Thursday that Mr. Loudon had pleaded guilty to securities fraud. Mr. Loudon also reached a partial judgment with the S.E.C., which had filed civil charges against him. BP declined to comment.

Mr. Loudon’s wife had started to work on BP’s proposed acquisition of TravelCenters of America in early 2022, the S.E.C.’s complaint said. She and Mr. Loudon, who is employed at a publicly traded company, often worked in home offices within 20 feet of each other.

Federal prosecutors said that Mr. Loudon either knew, or was “severely reckless in not knowing,” that information he overheard or was told about BP deals was confidential.

Mr. Loudon began buying TravelCenters of America stock on Dec. 27, 2022, and over the next seven weeks, the complaint said, he “methodically” sold approximately $2.16 million in positions from his individual brokerage account and his Roth IRA to purchase more of the company’s stock.

He did not tell his wife, federal prosecutors said.

After the merger was announced publicly, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, a private business regulator, requested information from BP in late March 2023 about the deal, the complaint said.

Mr. Loudon’s wife told her husband that a former colleague who had worked on the acquisition had complained to her about BP’s lawyers, who were asking for personal information. Mr. Loudon asked his wife if other employees would be under similar scrutiny and she said that they would.

A week later, Mr. Loudon told his wife that he had bought shares of the stock before the acquisition, but he did not say how many shares or how much money he had made, the complaint said.

Mr. Loudon’s wife was “stunned” by this admission, according to the complaint, and told her supervisor. She was placed on administrative leave and eventually terminated.

BP reviewed Mr. Loudon’s wife’s texts and emails and found no evidence that she knowingly leaked the information or knew about her husband’s trading.

“After Loudon’s confession, Loudon’s wife moved out of their house and generally ceased all contact with Loudon,” the complaint said. Mr. Loudon’s wife initiated divorce proceedings in June 2023.

Mr. Loudon faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a possible maximum fine of $250,000, according to prosecutors.

Mr. Loudon also agreed in the plea agreement to forfeit his $1,763,522 profit to the United States. His sentencing is scheduled for May 17.

How Fort Worth stacks up on list of cities with people who work from home https://cbomo.com/wfh-remote-cities-smartasset/ https://cbomo.com/wfh-remote-cities-smartasset/#respond Fri, 16 Feb 2024 18:47:28 +0000 https://cbomo.com/wfh-remote-cities-smartasset/ [ad_1]

Fort Worth has trash in its sights, and would like you get with the program — the composting program, that is.

Recognizing that the city’s landfill was filling up with materials that could go elsewhere, Fort Worth has been seeking ways to divert materials that could be re-used, recycled, mulched, or composted.

In 2019, the city launched its innovative
Residential Food Waste Composting Program, in which residents separate food scraps and bring them to drop-off points across Fort Worth.

Food scraps might seem like a messy annoyance when you take out the garbage, but it’s a bigger problem for the environment than it is for your nose. The methane gas from decomposing food in landfills contributes to greenhouse gas emissions. It also contributes to air, water, and traffic and transport pollution because the food scraps have to be hauled away by garbage trucks.

Composting takes those scraps and transforms them into organic matter that can be put back into the ground as a rich soil nutrient.

Back in 2014, an audit of the Fort Worth landfill revealed that 35 percent of contents could have been composted instead. This knowledge led city staffers to come up with an innovative solution, with a design based on a similar program in Minneapolis, to encourage and support residential composting.

In addition to local funding from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the program is supported by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Fort Worth currently has a total of 2,466 subscribers, who’ve donated a total of 144,201 pounds of food waste, keeping nutrient-rich food scraps and organic waste out of landfills.

Avery Pesek, a senior environmental planner with the city, and coordinator for Keep Fort Worth Beautiful, hopes to get that number close to 3,000 in 2024.

“We’ve found that the biggest barrier to entry in the program is people knowing about it,” Pesek says. “We are trying to get the word out about how easy and effective composting is to help Fort Worth.”

Fort Worth’s program was the first of its kind in North Texas; Plano launched a similar residential composting in 2023. (Houston began a composting program in 2021. San Antonio was a pioneer when it began a composting program in 2011, and Austin has been composting since 2013.)

Fort Worth subscribers pay a one-time $20 fee and are given a Composting Starter Kit, which includes a 5-gallon bucket with a lid, a smaller kitchen countertop pail that closes securely, and education materials.

“Two things I run into is a concern about odor and a concern about difficulty, but because it is a locking, closing bucket, there really isn’t a smell,” Pesek says.

Once the bucket is full, residents can drop off the scraps at one of 21 collection sites, such as Fort Worth community centers, churches, and parks. Most offer 24-hour access points to make dropping off as convenient as possible.

After dumping their compost, participants rinse their bucket at home and start again.

“If your reference is backyard composting, you might think this is going to be more difficult than it is,” Pesek says. “You can put things into our buckets that you can’t put in a backyard compost.”

For example, animal products. Most backyard composters add plant materials only, but the Fort Worth program takes any food scraps or leftovers, including cooked meats, bones, eggshells, baked goods, tea bags, coffee filters, nuts, fruits, and vegetables, including peels and pits.

“The composting program was designed with the residential subscriber in mind, and we wanted to make sure we could accept products like cooked meat, dairy, egg shells, that traditional backyard composting is not able to handle,” Pesek says.

They’re working with Cowboy Compost, the Fort Worth waste management company founded by former FWSO maestro Miguel Harth-Bedoya that specializes in “zero-waste” through composting in restaurants, workplaces, sporting events, and private homes. (They also sell their own bagged compost.) Cowboy Compost transforms the scraps into material that can be used in gardens, landscaping, and construction projects.

Unacceptable items include raw meats, grease or oil, chewing gum, Styrofoam, plastic bags, diapers, microwave popcorn bags, frozen food packaging, and pet waste or cat litter. Additionally, any products that are recyclable or labeled biodegradable are also unacceptable for compost.

Pesek says the program has consistently had a low level of contamination – less than 1 percent.

“The people who are opting into the program are a really passionate group,” she says. “We’ve been shocked at how good they are at following the requirements.”

According to the latest census, there are approximately 326,648 households in Fort Worth, making the current subscriber tally of 2,466 households less than 1 percent.

But for now, Pesek has her eye on the 3,000 subscriber benchmark. One composter at a time.

Developers tend to view the world as a place to tear down and build anew. But Arlington resident and longtime financial visionary Alan Petsche often has different ideas in mind.

“A love for, and a respect of history,” he calls it.

Petsche is the man responsible for thoughtful projects such as the restoration and reopening of Arlington’s famous Candlelite Inn, the 1957 restaurant said to have served the first pizza in town; and Joe’s Radiator Service, a 1963 structure at 200 N. East St. in Arlington that’s now home to pizzeria Cane Rosso.

For those efforts, Petsche was named the 2023 Dream Builder by the Downtown Arlington Management Corp., who presented the award at the Arlington association’s annual meeting and luncheon on September 20.

“A restored building has memories in its walls. You hear and feel them,” Petsche said as he recounted a Candelight memory. “You know what kids? Your grandma and grandad had their first date here. Same booth we’re in now!”

The award honors individuals who’ve contributed to revitalizing downtown Arlington; previous recipients include developer Ryan Dodson, whose Dodson Commercial Real Estate did the Urban Union development in Arlington, and former Arlington mayor Jeff Williams.

Alan PetscheFrom left: John Arnot from DAMC, Alan Petsche, Maggie Campbell DAMC President/CEO, and Jim Minge, Texas Trust Credit UnionDAMC

A long-time resident of Arlington and graduate of Lamar High School and UTA, Petsche has a legacy of building successful businesses and helping others in the community. He was only nine when he began working for his father, who started the A.E. Petsche Company in the family garage. Petsche eventually became the COO of the family business, which served the aerospace industry for more than 40 years before it was sold in 2009.

A release calls him a “serial entrepreneur” who has owned and operated an eclectic variety of businesses ranging from a comic book store he started in high school to a computer company, commercial real estate organizations, and restaurants. He is highly regarded in Arlington and beyond for his generosity, business acumen, integrity, musical talent, and service to the community.

At the Candlelite Inn, his team serves lunch to 150 volunteers of Mission Arlington weekly. The Court at the College Park Center Special Events Arena is named in his honor as a major donor to the University of Texas at Arlington.

He was also the biggest investor in the Urban Union development, helping drive major re-investment and bringing dozens of new businesses into downtown Arlington. Urban Union currently has 24 storefronts within eight buildings.

In a prior life, he was in a ’70s power-pop band called The Pengwins, which toured and sold records throughout the U.S. and in Europe. He keeps the music flame alive with a record label called Spyder Pop Records (initially created under the name Aaron Avenue Records) which has been called “a textbook model of how to do musical community right,” as well as “rightly renowned for their spectacular presentation of vinyl and CD releases.”

Maggie Campbell, President and CEO of the Downtown Management Arlington Corporation said, “Alan’s love for his hometown of Arlington is evident in the investments he has made, such as restoring the Candlelite Inn, and his passion for making downtown Arlington a prime destination for living, work, and entertainment that appeals to residents and visitors.”

Building Customer Loyalty with Marketing Automation: Retention Strategies that Work https://cbomo.com/building-customer-loyalty-with-marketing-automation-retention-strategies-that-work/ https://cbomo.com/building-customer-loyalty-with-marketing-automation-retention-strategies-that-work/#respond Thu, 24 Aug 2023 11:36:23 +0000 https://cbomo.com/building-customer-loyalty-with-marketing-automation-retention-strategies-that-work/ [ad_1]

We are living in a highly competitive business world where attracting new customers is undeniably important. However, fostering strong relationships with existing customers is equally, if not more, essential. The key to sustained success lies in building a loyal customer base that not only generates revenue but also becomes a driving force behind brand advocacy and long-term growth.

Enter marketing automation, an outstanding tool that empowers businesses to cultivate meaningful connections with their customers and elevate retention strategies to new heights. In this blog, we will embark on an exciting journey to discover the art of customer retention through the power of marketing automation.

In this blog, we’ll unravel effective strategies that forge lasting bonds with customers, transforming them into loyal brand advocates and propelling your business toward unparalleled success. And all this is possible only using the best marketing automation software.

  1.   Understanding Customer Loyalty

Customer loyalty goes beyond repeat purchases; it is a deep emotional connection between customers and brands. Loyal customers trust a brand, feel valued, and are more likely to recommend it to others. The key to nurturing loyalty lies in understanding customer needs, preferences, and behaviors. Marketing automation software allows businesses to gather valuable data and use it to deliver personalized experiences, creating a sense of connection and appreciation.

  1.   Segmentation and Personalization

One-size-fits-all marketing approaches no longer cut it in today’s dynamic market. Customers expect personalized interactions that cater to their individual needs. With marketing automation software, businesses can segment their audience based on various criteria like demographics, behavior, and purchase history. This segmentation enables personalized communication, offering customers tailored content, product recommendations, and exclusive offers that resonate with their preferences.

  1.   Automated Email Campaigns

Email marketing continues to be a powerful channel for nurturing customer relationships. Marketing automation software allows businesses to create targeted email campaigns triggered by specific customer actions or events. Automated welcome emails, birthday wishes, and cart abandonment reminders make customers feel valued and attended to, increasing the likelihood of them returning to complete their purchases.

  1.   Behavioral Triggers and Drip Campaigns

Behavioral triggers are a game-changer in retention strategies. With marketing automation software, businesses can set up triggers based on customer interactions, such as website visits, email opens, or social media engagement. These triggers initiate automated drip campaigns, delivering a series of relevant and timely messages that nurture customer interest and engagement. Drip campaigns are effective in guiding customers through their journey, building loyalty at every step.

  1.   Personalized Loyalty Programs

Loyalty programs are a tried and tested method to retain customers, but generic programs might not deliver the desired impact. The marketing automation software allows businesses to create personalized loyalty programs tailored to each customer’s preferences and past behavior. By rewarding customers for actions, they genuinely value, businesses can enhance loyalty and encourage ongoing engagement.

  1.   Re-Engagement Campaigns

Winning back dormant or inactive customers is an essential aspect of customer retention. Marketing automation enables businesses to identify dormant customers and launch re-engagement campaigns to reignite their interest. Customized offers, exclusive discounts, or personalized content can rekindle the connection and motivate customers to return.

  1.   Social Media Listening and Engagement

Social media plays a significant role in customer engagement and loyalty. Marketing automation software equipped with social media listening capabilities can monitor customer sentiment and respond promptly to inquiries or feedback. By engaging with customers in real time, businesses show they care and value customer opinions, further solidifying the relationship.

  1.   Surveys and Feedback Loops

Listening to customers is crucial in understanding their needs and expectations. Marketing automation facilitates the creation and distribution of customer surveys, enabling businesses to gather feedback and insights. Analyzing customer feedback helps identify pain points, areas for improvement, and opportunities to exceed expectations, ultimately strengthening customer loyalty.

  1.   Predictive Analytics for Personalization

Marketing automation platforms equipped with predictive analytics can anticipate customer needs and behavior. Leveraging historical data, browsing patterns, and purchase behavior, businesses can create hyper-personalized experiences that proactively meet customer expectations. Anticipating needs before customers even express them builds a sense of care and thoughtfulness that fosters loyalty.

  1.   Post-Purchase Nurturing

Customer retention doesn’t end after a purchase. Post-purchase nurturing is critical in creating lasting loyalty. Marketing automation software allows businesses to set up post-purchase campaigns that provide value beyond the transaction. This can include follow-up emails with helpful tips, product usage guides, or customer support resources to ensure a seamless customer experience.

  1.   Measuring and Analyzing Results

A successful retention strategy requires constant monitoring and optimization. Marketing automation provides valuable analytics and reporting, allowing businesses to measure the effectiveness of their efforts. Tracking customer engagement, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value helps identify what works and what needs improvement, enabling businesses to fine-tune their strategies for maximum impact.

Wrapping Up!

Building customer loyalty is an ongoing process that requires dedication, empathy, and the right tools. Marketing automation software empowers businesses to create personalized experiences, nurture customer relationships, and foster long-term loyalty. By implementing effective retention strategies through automation, businesses can transform one-time customers into brand advocates who not only remain loyal but also share their positive experiences with others, driving sustainable growth and success. As customer expectations continue to evolve, investing in the best marketing automation software to enhance retention efforts becomes not just a competitive advantage but a necessity for thriving in the ever-changing business landscape.

Super Affiliate System Review: Does It Work? In this thorough review, we’ll cover who John Crestani’s Super Affiliate System is for and whether it’s worth buying for those who are entering the space of affiliate marketing. With so many courses available on the internet, it can be hard to make sense of which one is the most optimal for beginners.

This article hopes to provide some insights on the super affiliate system to steer beginners in the right direction when starting their affiliate marketing journey.

Disclaimer:

This review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are publicly available online. Any conclusions drawn are merely the author’s opinions. The links contained in this product review may result in a small commission to the author if you opt to purchase the product recommended at no additional cost to you. The views and opinions expressed in this article are the author’s own.

The Super Affiliate System, by John Crestani, has gained a lot of popularity over the course of a few years. Upon a further look, it’s not hard to see why the traction and popularity are there, and more so when there’s an increase in students’ success stories. It has taken many that didn’t know anything about affiliate marketing to build lifestyle businesses that allow them to travel the world.

All thanks to the business model taught in the course, which in this case is affiliate marketing, as the name of the course suggests.

Now, it’s worth noting that while making thousands of dollars a month with affiliate marketing, or even better, being able to create a full-time income with it, it isn’t an outcome that the average individual will attain.

The average person makes no money online and any results shown in any testimonials or case studies are not average. The average person loses money and is at risk of partial or complete loss of capital. Any results students have gotten with the super affiliate system or any training program pertaining to making money online are exceptional results and by no means reflect the experience of the average individual.

Having that said, it’s worth noting that a sizable portion of users choose to jump from one opportunity to another, never allowing themselves to develop the necessary skills to see the fruits of their hard work pay off by the end.

However, for those sticking with the course long enough and willing to put in the hard work, while there still isn’t any guarantee or success and even complete loss of capital, there is a possibility of surpassing the average and getting to the top, thanks to the guidance of someone that’s actually in the trenches and has been making money online for several years.

Many agree that John Crestani does an exceptional job at this – it’s easy to get stuck in the affiliate marketing jungle and the business model can be risky without the right guidance. With John Crestani’s Super Affiliate system, everything is in one place, designed to take a complete novice to earning a full-time income.

Why Choose John Crestani’s Super Affiliate System

The alternative of trying to do this without a course by someone that’s qualified like Crestani is in this case is that it can quickly lead novices to information overload, as the information and pieces of the puzzle to making money with affiliate marketing are scattered across the web.

The next issue is making sense of who is trustworthy because, with affiliate marketing, there are unfortunately lots of unqualified individuals that don’t have the students’ best interest at heart and are looking to make a quick buck.

Far too many will fake their credentials or expertise. That is not the case with John Crestani, as he has a track record of success, and the success stories of his program often increase.

The Super Affiliate System is popular and rightfully so, as it provides beginners a sense of direction, as opposed to let’s say, joining a community where an instructor doesn’t have the documented success in affiliate marketing that John Crestani does, and its the blind leading the blind.

Private Group Access

John Crestani’s Course does come with access to a community, but what makes the community so powerful is that it’s often filled with individuals that understand the importance of investing in themselves and are serious about making affiliate marketing work for them.

The path to going from zero to super affiliate is lengthy and doesn’t come without its fair share of hardships, that’s why there’s nothing like being led by the hand in a step-by-step process through a course that’s both easy to digest and easy to understand.

A major plus of being in a private group where other students are as hungry as oneself for success is a sense of accountability that can be compared when going to the gym. But instead of growing muscles, students are ready to put their all into growing their financial muscles with a skill that, in theory, could serve them for the rest of their lives. Or at the very least, for as long as the internet as we know it is around.

Guided Throughout The Process

The value of having a mentor by one’s side in order to progress fast in any field can’t be quantified, because the time they spend committing themselves to the success of their student is invaluable.

And while buying the Super Affiliate System per se doesn’t mean one is buying mentorship, it does mimic some of the aspects of mentorship in the sense that it’s filled with people that have achieved the success a student in question wants to achieve and many times offer availability through a private group to those who are stuck.

Is The Super Affiliate System Course Only For Beginners?

Not only can the super affiliate system work for those who are new. It can also work for those that are advanced affiliates and intermediate, as the course does cover strategies for scaling profitable ad campaigns where the sky’s the limit as far as potential for profit goes.

Many times, those who get to experience the first initial small wins with affiliate marketing are stuck in the issue of scale, as scaling can be complicated. In addition, due to the nature of affiliate marketing, there’s a lot of contradictory advice, so it becomes harder for the novice.

Fortunately, with the Super Affiliate System, novices are unlikely to face that problem as they are learning from someone that’s a professional affiliate marketer.

Following the wrong advice on affiliate marketing can be dangerous and set someone’s business back for several years, all because they took the wrong advice. And at the end of the day, it ends up being more costly than not paying for a legitimate mentor. Ironically, the idea of not paying for a course or mentorship ends up becoming more harmful for the newbie affiliate.

While marketing in itself isn’t a science, it does help to approach it as such as many of the super affiliates today that ride yachts, fly in first class or travel to exotic locations worldwide did have to go through a rigorous process of trial and error to get to where they are today.

It’s smart to learn from one’s own mistakes, but wiser to learn from others’ mistakes, something the super affiliate course could help many do.

One learns to avoid many of the pitfalls and roadblocks that keep novice affiliates from transitioning to intermediate, and from intermediate to advanced.

In an ideal scenario, where it once had taken struggling beginners years to get where they wanted to be, it instead just takes a few months, if even that. Those who want to skip a lengthy and stiff learning curve could benefit strongly from what John Crestani’s program has to offer.

Why Affiliate Marketing Is Preferable Than Any Other Business Model

Many novices want to have as little overhead and complications as possible. Affiliate marketing in theory, is one of the easiest business models there is.

Affiliates don’t need to create their own products to make money and can start making money right away after launching a successful ad on either social media, search engines, native advertising and so on.

As long as an affiliate gets someone to buy from their link, they get a percentage of the commission of the product’s price, without affecting the original price of the product to the end user.

On top of that, it’s possible to do affiliate marketing without needing to talk to anyone, which can sound like a dream to introverts that like the idea of making a substantial amount of money without the need for human interaction.

Talking to others can be intimidating, and remaining in the zone of comfort is what many prefer, but not so ideal from a personal development point of view.

Affiliate Marketing Can Take Years To Master, But Doesn’t Have To

It’s a hard fact that most don’t make any money with affiliate marketing and most even lose money. And many give up before their last attempt.

Even when an individual does everything right, there will always be variables outside of our control that in one way or another can prevent someone from making money. That isn’t just exclusive to affiliate marketing but any business model suffers from this.

No one can guarantee anyone’s success. But at the very least, individuals can take steps to increase their likelihood of success. And one sure way to fast-track the process is to actually practice a craft and get feedback. But the practice has to be done correctly, in this case, ads have to be run correctly in order to see results.

Fortunately, John Crestani’s course does, as previously mentioned, get rid of many of the problems many new affiliates face when entering the space, such as information overload, as affiliates can comfortably watch the training materials condensed in one place at their own paste and do corresponding assignments to ensure they are retaining information taught in the course.

Those who purchase the super affiliate system get lifetime access to the program, so those who are overwhelmed by a busy schedule could still benefit greatly from what’s taught inside.

What Does The Super Affiliate System Course Teach?

Everything from the A-Z to mastering affiliate marketing. Once someone takes the course, they are supposed to have everything at their disposal to know everything they will ever need to become a full-time affiliate.

And while it’s impossible to cover everything the training program offers, here are some reasons on why the super affiliate system differs from so many other courses and what’s worth highlighting.

  • It teaches proper selection of offers, to make sure affiliates send clicks to offers that are likely to lead to sales and conversions. Offer selection can be difficult, but the methodology of the course teaches novices how to select an affiliate offer they can promote that will have the most potential for the strategy they are using.

  • Everything about tracking, optimization, and scaling. Tracking software helps affiliates determine which variables of one campaign make it most profitable, whether it’s a certain device that resulted in more sales for the affiliate, the browser the visitor used, etc. This information can later be used to create an ad with a winning combination to make a campaign result in a positive result of investment for every dollar put in. This is of course a simplified explanation but the training will go more into detail about this.

  • How to run campaigns on native advertising platforms. One of the major benefits of native ads in conjunction with affiliate marketing is that these platforms tend to be more affiliate friendly and flexible. Some of the biggest affiliates run their most profitable campaigns on native advertising platforms as these platforms are less prone to ban affiliates as opposed to the more common traffic sources, such as social media.

All this may sound complicated, but the reality is that it can become relatively simple, and while the skill is taught in the super affiliate system can take weeks, if not months to get a grip of, it’s a skill that can pay off in the long run and allow someone to live a location independent lifestyle while generating a full-time income.

(GET COURSE) – Get Access To The Training Program Inside The Super Affiliate System Here

But due to how in-depth this program goes, practically being an easy-to-digest library of information, everything is done in a step-by-step manner, so novices won’t be overwhelmed by advanced strategies that, due to their complexity, dissuade beginners from continuing.

It can be the ideal go-to resource for affiliates when they get stuck, but it doesn’t end there. Since, considering those who join the super affiliate system have access to a private group, they can get the direct feedback they need to go from a struggling affiliate to a winning affiliate.

In addition to the feedback they can get from others, a major plus is that students of the super affiliate system have access to weekly webinars where they can get their questions solved.

The program consists of 6 weeks of training. Some individuals may take longer to finish this, which is completely understandable and expected.

Fortunately, what’s taught inside the super affiliate system can also be used as a normal advertising skill for those looking to up their game in advertising and learn how to advertise on major social media platforms and search engines profitably.

This isn’t a program that should be rushed as the information contained is valuable and should be carefully studied if one wants to see the most optimal results.

In addition to teaching traditional affiliate marketing where merchants pay affiliates a percentage of the sale, the program also covers CPA marketing.

CPA stands for Cost Per Acquisition, meaning an affiliate can get paid a commission simply by getting visitors to fill in a form on a page, or completing a survey. So in theory, affiliates can make thousands of dollars out of visitors without the need for these visitors to purchase anything.

Cost

With something so easy to navigate and available for beginners at the time they get stuck in their affiliate marketing journey, the current price of the super affiliate system compared to what affiliates get is a steal. There was a time when the price was five thousand dollars to join the program.

As of right now, the price is $997, and it seems like it’s a one-time fee. However, there’s no guarantee this heavy discount will always remain in place, there’s always a risk for the price to increase, so we believe it’d be an intelligent decision to get it now as it’s at the lowest price it has ever been.

Quality training often requires an equivalent price in proportion to the value shown in the training. In this case, what’s taught inside the training are invaluable skills that come at a fraction of what it would normally cost on many other courses. Based on thorough observation and review, this is one of the most, if not the most comprehensive affiliate training programs we have spotted on the web to this date.

The alternative of going in circles without having a sense of direction and failing for years doesn’t sound as attractive when one instead considers the better option which can give a beginner the possibility of shortcutting a stiff learning curve. More so considering the technical barriers and challenges that come up when trying to do affiliate marketing on one own.

LOWEST PRICE: Get The Super Affiliate System At The Lowest Price It’s Ever Been By Clicking Here

Up To Date Information

One of the greatest aspects of the super affiliate system is that it’s up to date, and videos can be seen in a high-quality format. Due to the constantly changing landscape of affiliate marketing, it’s critical to have access to up-to-date information.

As previously mentioned, lots of affiliate marketing guides on the internet teach outdated information that might’ve worked years ago but no longer does.

The combination of being part of a private group, as well as learning from those who are considered the best in the industry is what can give the beginner affiliate a significant competitive edge as opposed to the counterpart that doesn’t have the knowledge or access to the strategies taught in the super affiliate system.

What Are The Overall Pros and Cons Of The Super Affiliate System?

John Crestani’s program is often considered ideal for beginners and here are some of the pros and cons of the program.

Pros

  • Easy to follow and digestible information through step-by-step guides.

  • Learn valuable, in-demand skills that are applicable for the foreseeable future.

  • Learn from experts who’ve been in the affiliate industry for years.

  • Accessible anywhere, at any time, at one’s own paste.

  • Suitable for beginners, intermediate and advanced affiliates.

  • Up-to-date course and constantly updated.

  • Very comprehensive and in-depth – everything an individual needs to become an affiliate marketer from the ground up.

Cons

  • Not ideal for those who are not serious or willing to put in the work to become a super affiliate. Lazy individuals who aren’t committed to their own success are the least likely to see results.

  • This is not a get-rich-quick scheme, so while results can happen rapidly, by no means does it represent the average result individuals will get with this program.

It’s worth noting that John Crestani does care about the success of the students joining the program. That’s why the super affiliate system has a money-back guarantee system, should someone decide the program isn’t for them.

STUDENT SUCCESS: How They Used The Super Affiliate System And Made It Work

How Many Hours a Day Do I Need To Make This Work?

While there never is any guarantee that this will work and while results will always vary, It’s understandable that individuals have different schedules and disposable time to devote to learning such a valuable skill as affiliate marketing correctly.

But lots of the students seem to dedicate around 2 to 3 hours every day, in order to make what’s taught inside the super affiliate system work. But this can of course vary from person to person, as everyone has different priorities.

Verdict – Is The Super Affiliate System Worth It?

For someone that is serious about learning the skill of affiliate marketing, I have yet to see another program as comprehensive as this one.

That’s not to say there isn’t, but based on the number of success stories and testimonials of exceptional students, this program seems to be one of the best choices for beginners to learn affiliate marketing and the A-Z on how to operate the business in a way that results in profits. It’s also suitable for those that want to be hand-held throughout their journey to make affiliate marketing their full-time career.

Plenty of companies in the UK have adopted a four-day work week. These include Awin, a global affiliate network; Dunelm, a home furnishing retailer; Camlas, a health tech company; Bex Design and Print; PR Dispatch, a subscription-based PR service; and Springbok AI, an AI consultancy, plus many, many more household names.

Each of these companies has implemented the four-day workweek in its own way and has reported positive outcomes such as increased productivity, improved work-life balance, and enhanced employee satisfaction.

The Surge in Demand for a Four-Day Work Week

In the evolving landscape of work, the traditional 9-5 working day is fast losing its dominance. The emergence of flexible working patterns has become more prominent, driven by the quest for better work-life balance, technological advancements, and the impact of the global pandemic. This shift in work culture not only affects how and where we work but also the number of hours dedicated to professional activities.

Parallel to the rise of flexible working, there’s an increasing clamour for the adoption of a four-day work-week. The four-day work week, as the name suggests, is a working model where employees perform their jobs over four days instead of the conventional five, without a reduction in their salary.

This model is championed as a means to boost employee productivity, morale, and well-being, while still maintaining organisational performance.

Snapshot of Companies Embracing the Four-Day Work Week

It’s 2023, and the four-day work week is no longer a pipe dream, but a reality for an increasing number of companies across the UK.

Among the companies that have permanently shifted to a four-day work week, we see examples like Hutch, Tyler Grange, We Are Purposeful, and Infigo, just to name a few. Each of these companies represents a different industry, demonstrating that the flexible work model can be applied across the board, rather than being confined to a specific sector.

Let’s take a brief tour of a few such companies and their experiences with the four-day work week.

Hutch:  A gaming studio that has found value in giving its staff an extra day off to recharge and refuel their creativity. They noticed an increase in staff engagement and productivity when they reduced their work week without cutting salaries.

Tyler Grange: An ecological consultancy firm that has seen a reduction in staff turnover and an increase in job applications since introducing the four-day work week. They have attributed this to an improved work-life balance and a happier, more motivated workforce.

We Are Purposeful: A social impact consultancy that adopted the four-day work week to enhance staff well-being and productivity. They found that the reduced hours encouraged more focused and efficient work, resulting in no loss of business productivity, but a noticeable increase in staff morale.

Infigo: A software firm that adopted the four-day work week to help their staff avoid burnout. They noted that the additional day off provides their employees with more time to relax and return to work refreshed and ready to contribute their best efforts.

Awin: At Awin, a leading global affiliate network, the move towards a four-day work week was driven by the desire to increase staff happiness and retention. Despite the initial challenges, the company reported an increase in productivity, a decrease in staff turnover, and overall positive feedback from the staff.

Dunelm: Dunelm, the home furnishing retailer, launched their four-day work week initiative with an aim to enhance work-life balance. Employees reported improved mental health and increased job satisfaction, while Dunelm experienced a boost in team productivity and performance.

Camlas: Camlas, a health tech company, adopted the four-day work week to help alleviate the stress associated with long hours. The results? A happier, more balanced team and a noticeable increase in productivity.

Bex Design and Print: At Bex Design and Print, the switch to a four-day work week was designed to give staff more leisure time and reduce their carbon footprint. The company reported improved employee engagement and customer satisfaction and saw an increase in profits despite the reduced working hours.

PR Dispatch: PR Dispatch, a subscription-based PR service, found that a four-day work week led to increased efficiency and improved work-life balance for their team. The company saw no drop in productivity or profitability and, in fact, noticed an increase in customer satisfaction.

Springbok AI: At Springbok AI, a leading AI consultancy, the move to a four-day work week was embraced as a way to attract top talent and reduce burnout. Employees reported being more refreshed and ready to tackle their tasks, leading to a more productive and dynamic work environment.

Each of these companies has its unique approach to the four-day work week, but all have witnessed the benefits it brings: a happier workforce, increased productivity, and an overall positive impact on their bottom line. These success stories should serve as an inspiration for your company as you consider embracing this rising trend.

Measurable Outcomes

The outcomes have been impressive. Increased employee engagement was a common benefit reported by these companies. Atom Bank, for example, saw an upturn in engagement levels by 8%, and job applications doubled. Similarly, Earthly, an environmental tech company, witnessed heightened resilience among staff members, attributing this to better work-life balance.

The Royal Society of Biology observed an upswing in productivity, echoing the findings from numerous other companies. Thryve Talent, a recruitment agency, reported a reduction in staff turnover and an increase in the quality of applicants. It seems the four-day work week serves as a magnet for talent seeking a better work-life balance.

Employees in companies trialling this approach experienced an improved work-life balance, and companies witnessed increased productivity and, in many cases, profitability. An average increase in revenues of 1.4% was noted during the trial period, with a more substantial 35% increase compared to the same six-month period in 2021.

Overall, these case studies provide ample evidence that the four-day work week can bring significant benefits, not just for employees but also for the companies themselves. The journey may not be without its bumps, but the rewards on the other side make it a worthwhile venture.

Challenges and Successful Implementation Strategies

The implementation of a four-day work week was not without its trials. Companies had to navigate potential pitfalls, like ensuring that the reduced working hours didn’t compromise the quality of their offerings, or cause customer service to suffer. For instance, a bank such as Atom Bank had to ascertain that customer transactions, including card payments over the phone, remained unaffected.

Yet, with creative problem-solving and robust planning, these businesses were successful. Strategies used ranged from cross-training employees to cover different roles, employing time management software like Scoro, to more effective delegation of tasks.

Misconceptions Surrounding the Four-Day Work Week

Many imagine a drop in productivity or service coverage, with businesses open for fewer days but this is not necessarily the case. The primary aim of the four-day work week is to maximise productivity within reduced working hours, not to limit the operational days of the business. With proper planning, customer service and productivity levels can be maintained, or even enhanced, despite the reduction in individual working hours.

The Difference Between Reduced Hours and Compressed Hours

A key distinction in the four-day work week model is the difference between reduced hours and compressed hours. Reduced hours entail working fewer hours in a week, while compressed hours involve squeezing the traditional 40 hours into four working days.

In the context of the four-day work week trials in the UK, the focus has been on reduced hours with no pay cuts, underlining the principle that productivity is not solely a factor of long working hours. This shift has significant implications for all aspects of business, including how companies handle operations such as taking card payments over the phone.

How to Implement a Four-Day Work Week

How to Implement a Four-Day Work Week

Taking the leap towards a four-day work week may seem daunting, but with careful planning and strategising, it can become a rewarding reality. Let’s walk through the steps to achieve this at your place of work:

Steps to Introducing a Four-Day Work Week

  1. Strategies: Begin by considering why you’re introducing a four-day work week. Is it to boost productivity, enhance employee morale, or attract top talent? Understanding the “why” will shape your strategy.
  2. Plan: Once you have a clear vision, you need a plan. Start by analysing your current processes and identifying where changes need to be made. You may need to shuffle around some tasks or change the way you delegate responsibilities.
  3. Engage Staff: Transparency and communication are key. Discuss the changes with your team, get their feedback and address any concerns they may have. Remember, this is as big a change for them as it is for you.
  4. Pilot Run: Before rolling out the new system company-wide, consider doing a pilot run in a select department or with a small team. This trial period will help you identify potential roadblocks and fine-tune the implementation plan.
  5. Implement: Once you’re satisfied with the pilot run, roll out the changes across the company. Be prepared for some resistance and teething problems, but keep the lines of communication open.

Role of Planning and Strategy

Transitioning to a four-day work week is not a spur-of-the-moment decision. It requires meticulous planning and careful strategy. Your planning process needs to consider your business operations, your employees’ needs, and how the change will impact your clients or customers.

Using Project Management Software

Project management software can be a valuable tool during this transition. It can help you manage tasks, organise your team, and ensure everyone is on the same page. For instance, tools like Asana or Trello can help you visually organise your workflow, making the transition smoother.

Discussing Strengths and Weaknesses of the Strategy

Like any significant change, a four-day work week comes with its strengths and weaknesses. It has the potential to increase productivity, enhance employee morale, and make your company more attractive to top-tier talent. However, the transition may also come with challenges, like ensuring customer service isn’t affected, especially in sectors like banking where continuous availability for transactions, including phone payments, is crucial.

By anticipating these potential issues and strategising around them, your business can successfully adopt a four-day work week, reaping the many benefits it has to offer.

Conclusion

Reflecting on the state of the corporate landscape, it’s clear that the traditional five-day work week is gradually losing its dominance. The four-day work week, once a novel concept, is now a reality for many UK companies, with the trend showing no signs of slowing down.

Companies like Hutch, Tyler Grange, and the Royal Society of Biology, among others, have proven that this approach can work, with the benefits extending beyond just happier employees to encompass increased productivity and resilience.

Looking ahead, the future looks promising for this new work structure. As more companies seek to enhance their work-life balance, attract top talent, and retain their staff, it’s likely that more will consider switching to the four-day work week.

Your company, too, could be part of this trend. Remember, it’s about creating a work culture that values quality over quantity, one that recognises the importance of balance and well-being. If implemented correctly, the four-day work week could mark a significant turning point in your company’s journey towards a more engaged, productive, and content workforce.

Work from home: Summertime wanderlust and vacation mood from April through June this year resulted in a gear shift in workers job preferences. The popularity of ‘Work from Anywhere‘ (WFA) shot to an all-time high, with 88 per cent of job seekers marking this as their top preference. This is a 10 per cent rise from the previous quarter, a new report showed.

According to the quarterly Flexible Working Index released by Flexa, the demand for WFA roles saw a remarkable 120 per cent jump. Around 33 per cent of all job seekers were actively searching for such opportunities in the April-June quarter. The number of people who stated WFA as their top preference was the recorded by the Index since its launch in July 2022. The findings this year were the result of insights gathered from over 350,000 job searches. The preferences of over 8,000 job seekers regarding their desired location, schedule, and work style for the relevant quarter were taken into account.

What is WFA?

Following the Covid-19 pandemic, the popularity of WFA schemes has risen considerably. Since employees have the option to work from any location, they can take advantage of the benefit of travelling to new places or visiting family members overseas without using up their yearly vacation days.

Molly Johnson-Jones, CEO and co-founder of Flexa said,”this kind of flexibility allows employees to travel for extended periods without having to use up annual leave or take a cut in pay – a particularly appealing prospect during the warmer months.”

Higher demand for fully remote roles, flexible work hours

A month-on-month growth in the demand for fully remote roles was noticed, with 59 per cent of all workers expressing a preference for fully remote positions by June 2023. This marked a 13 per cent increase from April this year.

“We saw fully remote roles fall out of favour with job seekers last autumn, with demand dropping to an all-time low in December. The reversal of this trend, which began in spring and has continued into the summer, highlights the seasonality behind demand for different working locations,” Molly Johnson-Jones said.

The past quarter also saw a seasonal increase of nine per cent in the number of job seekers who preferred summer hours. Around 24 per cent of all workers indicated a preference for summer hours, compared to 22 per cent in April. The change in preference coincides with employees wanting to make the most of the extended and warmer evenings that come with the summer season.

Should remote work employees get paid less? https://cbomo.com/452515-2/ https://cbomo.com/452515-2/#respond Thu, 13 Jul 2023 00:35:48 +0000 https://cbomo.com/452515-2/ [ad_1]

According to the minister, the decision on where employees work should be left to negotiations between employees and their bosses.

“We want to see more people come back to work so that the CBDs (central business districts) can enliven, certainly, but more importantly, we want to see successful, prosperous businesses that can employ more people in a productive way,” she said.

Amid attempts to get people back in offices post-pandemic, some organisations have declared they will be offering reduced salaries to employees who will work from home.

But for employees already working fully remote, a previous Ipsos survey revealed that more than half of them (55%) would take lesser pay if it meant they get to work remotely. Majority (80%) of the respondents, however, said they will accept on-site work as long as it offers high compensation.
