					An Orlando mother is on life support after an alleged drunk driver crashed into her when she was driving home from a work trip. According to FHP reports, the crash happened on State Road 528 in Cocoa around 2 a.m. on March 9. Jessica Alves was driving home to Orlando from a work trip in Miami, according to her wife Pamela Farfan.The couple recently launched their brand new mobile detailing business and went down to Miami to outfit the work van. On the day of the crash, Alves was driving the work van and Farfan was following behind her in their personal vehicle. They were just 40 minutes from home when the crash happened. “It just happened too fast. He just passed me and crash(ed) (into) her. He is drunk. It&#8217;s a drunk driver,” said Farfan. Farfan said Alves and her 10-year-old daughter moved to Florida from Brazil over four years ago for a better life. Now, she is fighting for her life. “She’s a miracle. If you saw the car, you don&#8217;t believe she is alive right now,” Farfan said. Farfan said Alves is in a coma and her legs, ankles and pelvis are broken. “The doctors say we have to live day-by-day. So now, that&#8217;s what I&#8217;m doing. Pray for her every day,” Farfan said. Farfan said her wife has a big heart. “She (taught) me how to drive. She gave me a home,” Farfan said. “We started a life together, too.
