<p>Laurie Fulford quit her corporate job to become a stay-at-home mom in 2017. Now she makes $30,000 a year by working 15 hours a week doing other people&#8217;s laundry.</p>
<p>She came across a Facebook post about earning income on SudShare, a laundry platform, and she signed up in September 2021.</p>
<p>She advertised her service in local Facebook groups and started by taking any order within 25 miles of her home.</p>
<p>&#8220;I was driving all over town, but I tried to trust the process — I knew that I&#8217;d eventually get to be picky once I&#8217;d built up a good clientele,&#8221; Fulford said.</p>
<p>She said she&#8217;d fold clothes neatly, match socks, and tie colorful ribbons around laundry bags to make her customer service top notch.</p>
<p>&#8220;I also include a thank-you card to new customers saying, &#8216;I hope I&#8217;ve made your life a little bit easier today. I&#8217;d love for you to request me for your next order,'&#8221; she added. &#8220;I&#8217;ve found that small touches can make a big difference.&#8221;</p>

<p>Judd Albring, a stay-at-home dad, shares tips for working a remote job, work-from-home opportunities, and affiliate-marketing advice on his YouTube channel.</p>
<p>By his second year his channel was making only a few dollars a day through Google AdSense. In September 2021 one of his videos went viral. Albring&#8217;s channel has since reached 304,000 subscribers.</p>
<p>He became eligible for <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/how-many-youtube-subscribers-you-need-to-start-making-money-2022-1" data-analytics-product-module="body_link" rel="noopener">YouTube&#8217;s Partner Program</a>, which shares revenue from the ads Google places on videos with creators. He made several hundred dollars a day from ads and from recommending products in his videos.</p>
<p>Albring started affiliate marketing, or promoting products in exchange for a commission, for some software and online-training companies. He uses his email list to land affiliate commissions too.</p>
<p>&#8220;Facebook or any other social platform can shut you down anytime it wants. They owe you nothing, but you own your email list, and you can market to your audience at any time,&#8221; he said.</p>
<p>In 2021 Albring hired freelancers to help him create and post content, and now he says he works no more than 10 hours a week.</p>
