How to Clean Dr. Dabber Boost EVO
For the best results, it is recommended to clean the Dr. Dabber Boost EVO on a regular basis. You should use a Q-tip along with 91% isopropyl alcohol to clean residue around and in the chamber and in the glass attachment. Always swab out any reclaim left over after each dab.
If you need to clean the shell, use rubbing alcohol that is 71% or lower, because if it is too strong, such as with 91% isopropyl alcohol, you might actually remove the paint from the unit. Do not completely immerse the atomizer in liquid as that may damage it.
You can also remove the quick-connect adapter and the glass attachment from the rest of the unit, and then use a paper towel or cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol to clean any remaining residue. Always let all parts air dry before putting them back together and using the dabber.
Dr. Dabber Boost EVO vs Switch
One of the biggest differences here is that the Switch is designed as both a concentrate vaporizer and a flower vaporizer. This means that you can switch from concentrates to flower whenever you see fit, something that the Dr. Dabber Boost EVO can’t do.
Furthermore, the Switch features 25 heat settings ranging from 300 degrees Fahrenheit to 780 degrees Fahrenheit. This allows you to choose from very low and very high temperatures to achieve the exact results that you need, something that you, unfortunately, don’t get with the Dr. Dabber Boost EVO.
Something else that stands out about the Switch is the fact that it only takes about four seconds for it to heat up, whereas the Dr. Dabber Boost EVO takes about 11 seconds. Now, the difference here is, of course, negligible, so we don’t think that this is a big deal. While it’s clear that the Switch is the superior product, it’s also a little more expensive than the Boost EVO.
Dr. Dabber Boost EVO vs Puffco Peak Pro
For one, the Dr. Dabber Boost EVO features magnetic connections that make it very easy to set up, something that you don’t get with the Peak Pro. Furthermore, the Dr. Dabber Boost EVO is slightly more affordable than the Peak Pro.
However, what’s really cool about the Peak Pro is its smartphone app, which provides you with all the information you need about the unit. It allows you to set the temperature on your phone as well.
The Peak Pro also has a wireless charging dock (sold separately) whereas the Dr. Dabber Boost EVO requires a USB cable.
Furthermore, the Dr. Dabber Boost EVO comes complete with a curved mouthpieces that make it much easier and more comfortable to use than the Peak Pro, which has a straight mouthpiece.
The Dr. Dabber Boost EVO also heats up much faster than the Peak Pro. The other big difference here is that the Dr. Dabber Boost EVO has six temperature settings, whereas the Peak Pro only has four, however the Peak Pro is customizable on the corresponding app.
All in all, we would say that the Dr. Dabber Boost EVO is the better option, if only for the fact that its more affordable.
